Sit Down for a Canadian Thanksgiving Feast at 4corners

Canadian Thanksgiving!  Always about a little over a month before the American Thanksgiving holiday, this Canadian tradition traces back to the old European farming custom of coming together to celebrate a plentiful harvest.

Normally celebrated on the second Monday of October each year (a tradition that started back in 1957), 4corners 肆角餐吧 is hosting an all-day Thanksgiving feast for the first time this coming Sunday, October 7th from 12PM onwards.

The feast will be served buffet style, all day long for RMB 168 per person. You know what that means – you can come and eat your fill for lunch, fall into a turkey coma, and wake up in time for round two.

4corners owner Jun Trinh is a Canadian-Vietnamese chef and martial arts practitioner and he loves Canadian Thanksgiving so much, he'll be serving it all day long. People are welcome to come for lunch, but they'll be serving another offering at dinner.

"Join us for 4corners Canadian Thanksgiving lunch event where roasted goose, roasted turkey, two types of stuffing, mashed turnips and potatos, and all the other fixings will be served. There will, of course, be pumpkin pie for dessert, with whipped cream obviously."

My foodie friends and I like Thanksgiving food so much that we organize home-cooked Thanksgiving meals at least 2-3 times per year.

Whether you're Canadian or not, an opportunity to indulge in multiple Thanksgiving meals a year should not be missed.

**In other 4corners news, Jun has been busy building a new oven and fireplace and he's also building a whiskey room in the back that should hopefully be completed in time for his Thanksgiving day of feasting.
