How to Visit Beijing in 8 Days

Plan your Beijing tour? Beijing has lots to offer. Though 2 or 3 full days are enough for you to grab the highlights of Beijing, more days are needed to have a good feel of the historical and modern city of Beijing. Today we receive an enquiry from a client named Mrs.Vered. We are amazed by her clear and detailed description for what they want for their 8-day trip to Beijing.  Empowered by internet, a layman could possibly become a destination expert in a relatively short time!

We are much pleased to post her 8-day travel plan with slight modification for new visitors to share, followed by my own version of Beijing 8 day travel arrangement ( day by day ) per their travel plan.

Hello Tour Beijing,

My husband and me are considering to come for a visit in Beijing in mid November for 8 days. We read in your web site about the main attractions and listed them below. We would like also to get out of the city and see some nature (my husband is a botanist), this can be connected with the great wall walk and with the Cuandixia Village visit. Can you please go through this list and let us know if it's good for 8 days or whether we have missed any interesting attraction (by the way, we don't like the opera and theater shows….) and prepare for us a 8 days schedule including a quote (no hotels) . In general, we prefer to have a car with a driver and English speaking tour guide.

Major attractions
Forbidden City (imperial garden, watches museum, jewelry room)
Lama Temple – Yonghegong + Confucius Temple
hutong is Nanluoguxiang or in the Gulou
Jingshan Park - Imperial garden.
Beijing National Grand Theatre (just to see the building)

Out of the city
great Wall – Mutianyu + Ming Tombs

Shopping
Wangfujing Street

Antiques
Liulichang Antique Street

Best Regards

Vered
