There are countless museums around the world, all with their own specific styles, from the hipster MoMA to the eclectic V & A museum in the UK. GIFT ZEN, the newest in Lawrence Wang’s ZEN Lifestore design shop series, has brought goods from all of these museums and more right here to Shanghai’s Xintiandi Style. Housed in an architecturally cool shop, items up for purchase include all kinds of exciting and / or wacky pieces from the gift stores of the 17 most prestigious museums in the world.

The selection is surprisingly appealing, from the fashion trump card game (RMB138) to the Guggenheim art deco posters (RMB1,580). Plus, as there are informational plaques set up throughout the store, you can also learn a little bit about the museums and designers whose works are on display. We’re harboring fantasies of purchasing one of German artist Marianne Brandt’s desk lamps, if only we can save enough to afford the hefty RMB2,280 price tag.
