theBeijinger's 10 Annual Reader Restaurant Awards

theBeijinger.com has just launched their 10th Annual Reader Restaurant Awards and you have from now until March 8, 2012 to cast your vote, so get it all out on the table and start giving props to all the restaurants in Beijing you love and frequent most.

"The whole point of our Reader Restaurant Awards is that we want to be able to tell you what the public recommends. We use what psephologists call a First Past The Post system, which means that the winner is the nominee with the most votes in that category." – theBeijinger

This year will see 50 different categories with 8 different Beijing dining establishments to choose from in each category.  From Best Beijing Duck to Best "Green" Restaurant (environmentally conscious), here's all 50 categories:

A restaurant list assembled by "over 200 Beijing food lovers", you also have the option to ignore the listed restaurants and "Write-in" your own nomination.

And this year, theBeijinger team is taking this data and taking it one step further. They are taking in consideration voter's age, nationality and time in Beijing to see which restaurant Italians proclaim to have Beijing's best pizza, where Americans like their burgers, and where Chinese most admire standards of service or if they care at all.

Already excited to see the results, I am most looking forward to seeing how the results are analyzed – so we can see who is voting for which restaurants and hopefully will shed more truth behind the whole mysterious facade of these popular restaurant awards that seem to bring much fame (and shame) to Beijing's most popular, talked about restaurants.

"It's time to step up and represent, Beijing." - theBeijinger Team

I second this request.
