 The Creator's Project 2012

Art Installations. Film Screenings. Panels and Workshops. DJ Sets. Performances.

Spread across two days next weekend, , The Creator's Project is a two-day international art, music, fashion and technology festival that will be appropriately hosted in 798 Art District in the Bauhaus-inspired, world-famous art space, Beijing's Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA).

Organized by Vice Magazine, they have a strong line-up starting with former LCD Soundsystem bandmates James Murphy and Pat Manhoney playing a DJ set on Saturday, September 8. The performance will go alongside a screening of Shut up and Play the Hits, which documents LCD Soundsystems farewell gig.

The weekend will also showcase the premier of Vega Zaishi Wang's new fashion line, showings from Shanghai musician and visual artist B6 and neon painter Kong Lingnan. Other national and international bands performing will include Octocloud, The Treachery of Sanctuary, Chromatics, Real Estate, FM3, Duck Fight Goose, CNdy and an additional host of art exhibitions that spill over onto Sunday, September 9.
