Beidaihe Beach

Want an escape from crazy city life? Located in the warm temperate zone, Beidaihe beach is a popular tourist destination where many people can go to spend a weekend to escape the constant hustle and bustle of the crowded city. When you travel to Beijing or if you travel to Shanghai for an extended amount of time and want to escape the city, going to Beidaihe beach could be the perfect thing for you. If you do not want to walk through the zoo, then you have the option to go to the center beach or even Tiger Stone Marine Park. Both of these places offer places to sunbathe as well as play in the water. Due to the vastness of the beach with many small coves, it is very easy to escape the masses of other travelers deciding to vacation at the beach. There are many activities that can occupy your time once arriving at Beidaihe beach.

In terms of the night life present in the area, there is not a whole lot to do if you would like to go to clubs or bars, but there are many restaurants and you can always take a stroll along the beach. Comparable to Houhai lake area, there are many bustling vendors that you can visit. You can drink along the beach or simply use the time to relax in one of the many inns the area has to offer. There is more than enough there during the summer evenings to keep you entertained. It really just depends on how you would like to spend your time while on vacation.

Less than an hour from the city of Beijing, Beidaihe beach is a great escape from every day city life. With lower levels of pollution and optimal temperatures year round, Beidaihe beach is an area you should definitely consider visiting.
