3. Terra-cotta Warriors in Xian

Discovered in 1974 by the four local farmers who drilled a well about 30km east of the downtown Xian. Later, the unearthened Terra-cotta Army was unquestionally the most important archaeological discovery in the last century, often regarded ad the eighth wonders in the world.

The time to open the tomb of Qin Shi Huang is unknown since the present science and technology is not advanced enough to protect the tomb once it is earthened.
